Strength and conditioning training is to improve your overall performance and movement quality.

You do that by improving your spinal mechanics through things like breathing and bracing, squats, farmer’s carry, deadlifts, bird dogs etc with the correct form, the correct rep ranges, the correct rest periods and progressive overload.

You’ll minimise injury. Especially as you get older, as it will improve your bone density.
